New York’s energy agency does not intend to bid for future development zones put to tender off the state’s coastline, as it did last time around.
“We don’t have any current plans to participate in the next round of lease areas,” Alicia Barton, chief executive of the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (Nyserda), said this week on the sideline of the AWEA Offshore conference in New York.
