The US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) has awarded a grant to Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Co. 2 (PECC2), a Vietnamese power engineering company, to support development of a 100MW offshore wind farm in southern Vietnam.
PECC2 selected consulting and engineering firm DVN GL in Seattle to carry out the project design and feasibility study.
PECC2 is developing the 100 MW Tan Thuan Nearshore Wind facility in two phases – the first is 24MW and the second planned at 76MW.
