The Danish government has signalled closer links with the emerging Chinese offshore wind sector, including plans to jointly build a test and demonstration centre in the country.

Denmark’s energy minister Lars Christian Lilleholt said China is set to tap Danish expertise for future development in its waters after meeting the head of China’s National Energy Administration (NEA) in Copenhagen.

The two countries plan to jointly build a test and demonstration centre in China, Lilleholt told Reuters in comments confirmed to Recharge by a Danish government spokesman who said no further details are available.
