German wind turbine manufacturer Enercon has launched two new turbines in its 3MW platform – the E-126 EP3 and the E-138 EP3 - designed for sites with moderate and low winds respectively that are scheduled to go into production in late 2018 and late 2019.

Next to higher annual yields, the two new will benefit from optimised processes for production, transport and logistics, and installation, Enercon said at the global launch of the turbines during the Brazil Windpower show in Rio de Janeiro that begins today and ends on Thursday.
