Work on the 402MW Veja Mate offshore wind farm has been completed, after the last of the 67 Siemens SWT-6.0-154 turbines was installed.
The €1.9bn ($2bn) project, located 95km from Borkum island in some 40 metres of water, is owned by the Highland Group, Siemens Financial Services and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners.
Construction started in April last year and the project will produce over 1.6TWh
