EnBW grows its stake in Juwi owner MVV

German energy major EnBW has acquired a 6.28% stake in compatriot MVV Energie from France’s Engie, a deal that deepens its interest in the regional utility that also controls renewables developer Juwi.

Following an initial acquisition of 15.05% of the shares in MVV in 2004 and the acquisition of a further 7.4% in 2007, EnBW has now increased its stake in MVV to 28.76%.
