In another round of consolidation in the wind manufacturing industry, Germany-based OEM Senvion has bought all the shares of blade maker Euros in an all-cash transaction it says will help it enter new markets faster.
With the acquisition, the turbine maker will expand its blade manufacturing capacity by a quarter as Euros production sites in Poland will be added to Senvion’s blade factories in Bremerhaven, Germany, and Vagos, Portugal.
