Danish offshore wind sub-contractors will soon have greater access to low-cost technology testing facilities, following the award by the European Development Fund of DKr40m (€5.6m) to a group led by business development network Offshoreenergy.dk.
The three-year Inn2Power project, which is being run by Offshoreenergy.dk and Business Academy Southwest (BAS), already has had expressions of interest from 18 Danish small- and medium-size enterprises (SMEs).
