The Netherlands’ Borssele 1 & 2 tender broke all records in July with Dong Energy’s winning price of €72.70 ($80) per MWh, and industry experts — as well as the Dutch government — expect an even lower winning price in the ongoing Borssele 3 & 4 tender.
Prices at upcoming tenders in Germany and the UK are also expected to be markedly lower than previous awards.
