"Our long-term goal is to grow our offshore wind business both organically and potentially through strategic investments. We have been involved in discussions on the Adwen situation, though there are no definitive plans at this point," GE said in a written statement sent from its RE headquarters in Paris, without giving further details.
"We believe a more robust GE presence in offshore wind would be good for our customers, for competition in the segment, and for France, where our offshore wind business is based."
