London-listed Mytrah had 878MW of wind in operation by the end of June after commissioning 295MW in the first half, and has added another 39MW since the period's end.
The company said the figure – which is “significantly ahead” of its initial targets – means it is set to hit the 1GW goal by the middle of 2017.
Mytrah’s fledgling solar business also “made sound progress” during the first half, and now boasts long-term PPAs for 422MW.
