The hybrid glass-fiber and carbon blade, calculated to be able to increase annual energy production (AEP) by up to 6%, will form a rotor star that stretches more than 200 metres into the air, sweeping 25,450 square metres — larger than the Colosseum in Rome.

The first two LM 88.4P blades, manufactured in Lunderskov in southern Denmark, will be tested at LM's own test rig there, and at the Blaest test centre in the northern port city of Aalborg for trials under Adwen's product validation plan.
