Chicago-based Invenergy, the largest privately owned US renewables developer, intends to build 700MW of new capacity at four wind farms and two solar arrays located across the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest regions.
The power would be harnessed at a new converter station in New Jersey, and then flowed onto New York’s Long Island via a subsea HVDC connection, with Boston-based transmission developer Anbaric
