Taiwan signed off on Spanish floating wind developer Bluefloat’s 1GW ‘Winds of September’ (WoS) project’s environmental impact assessment (EIA), validating the project’s permission to bid into the island’s upcoming floating wind demonstration round.
The clearance by the Ministry of Environment (MoE) confirms the preliminary nod granted last October which gave the project its “ticket to bid,” according to country manager Michael Pinkerton.
