EnBW has just announced it has bought two regional wind operators with a joint installed capacity of 105MW across seven wind farms in Sweden to gain a foothold in the booming market.
Manfred Haberzettel, director of business development, generation, at the German utility, sees the country’s stable political and regulatory framework as one of its best assets, and tells EnBW is searching further partners and projects in Sweden.
Why have you chosen Sweden as one of your focus areas outside Germany?
Because of the importance of the Swedish wind market.
