SSE-backed company wins huge Scottish hydroelectric tender

Green Highlands Renewables (GHR), a little-known hydroelectric specialist backed by Scottish & Southern Energy, won a tender to develop run-of-river projects throughout the Highlands in a deal worth up to £100m ($160m) over 10 years.
