Scotland's Sound of Islay tidal project gets green light

The Scottish government has approved a 10MW tidal-stream array being developed by ScottishPower Renewables (SPR) in the Sound of Islay, which will use 10 of Hammerfest Strøm’s HS1000 tidal turbines.
