One of the biggest challenges facing the energy transition in Europe is not getting governments to act, it’s to first get governments to understand what is achievable, says Magnus Hall, chief executive of Swedish utility Vattenfall and the new president of electricity industry body Eurelectric.
Only then, he tells Recharge, can governments put in place policies that will work in each of their countries.
