Vestas will electrify thousands of its corporate vehicles after linking with Enel X for charging infrastructure, in a deal that marks the start of a collaboration between two of the biggest names in the energy transition.

The world’s largest supplier of onshore wind turbines and Enel X – the energy services arm of global renewable power giant Enel – will “begin an effort to identify opportunities to collaborate on developing innovations across e-mobility, grid integration and sector coupling”, said a statement from Vestas.
