Statkraft and BayWa in Spanish first with 170MW no-subsidy PV

German group BayWa r.e. and Norway’s Statkraft have concluded a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) covering the 170MW Don Rodrigo solar PV plant in southern Spain.

Don Rodrigo, which will be located south of Seville, will be one of the first solar projects of this size in Europe to be realised without any subsidies, according to the project partners.
