European wind advocacy body WindEurope has named MHI Vestas CEO Philippe Kavafyan as its new chairman.
Kavafyan, who will hold the elected post for an 18-month term with EDF executive vice president Nicolas Couderc as vice-chair, takes over from Vattenfall wind business chief Gunnar Groebler.
