Spanish oil and gas major Repsol has reaffirmed its plans to lower the carbon intensity of its business this year, despite posting a heavy loss in first quarter earnings due to the abrupt and steep fall in oil and gas prices and the collapse in demand due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
