Spanish utility Iberdrola has been granted environmental permits allowing it to move ahead with the development of four photovoltaic plants with a total capacity of 300MW, adding to its rapidly growing solar footprint in its home market.
The four PV plants, in the province of Caceres in the Extremadura region of southwest Spain, will require a joint investment of around €180m ($211.5m).
