Iberdrola will create a new green hydrogen business unit with an ambition to be a "world leader"in the field, underlining the burgeoning ambitions of the world’s wind and solar giants in the emerging renewable H2 sector.
The creation of the new unit was announced by CEO Ignacio Galan, who said the Spanish group aims to make the same impact in green hydrogen as it has in the renewable power sector, where it is one of the world’s largest operators of capacity.
