Hydrogen has surged up the oil and gas sector's priority list as the central component in its efforts to decarbonise, new research suggests.
More than half of the 1,000 senior oil and gas professionals questioned by technical advisory firm DNV GL expect the carbon-free production, transmission and distribution of hydrogen to be a significant part of the energy mix by 2030.
