Google urged more Asian nations to make renewables-friendly changes to their power sector laws after signing its first clean-energy PPA on the continent with a solar plant in Taiwan.
The web giant will buy power from a yet-to-be built 10MW array in Tainan City to power its data centre in Changhua County, 100km away and connected to the same regional grid.
