Former Siemens Gamesa chief financial officer David Mesonero has taken a senior role at energy giant Iberdrola.
Mesonero – who left the turbine OEM in March after 10 years – joined Iberdrola as deputy to the group’s director of business development, Pedro Azagra.
An Iberdrola spokesman told Recharge the appointment “demonstrates Iberdrola's continued commitment to growth in the renewable energy sector – David has been an expert in this sector for over a decade with his work at Siemens Gamesa”.
