The Chinese wind industry has called on Beijing's energy regulator to push back grid-connection deadlines currently imposed on projects by “at least six months”, amid supply chain slow-downs caused by the global Covid-19 pandemic.
Developers and turbine manufacturers set off a wave of work resumption in March, as the government announced the spread of coronavirus had been “curbed”, shifting the focus to making economic rebound the Asian superpower’s top priority.
