Brazil’s state-controlled oil and gas company Petrobras plans to invest $417m in renewable energy through 2023, a move that firmly puts offshore wind power in its plans for the coming years.
Although the value is a drop in the ocean compared to the $84bn the company plans to invest overall, it is first time that offshore wind has been included in its official strategic plan.
