The huge potential for onshore wind, solar PV and hydro-power in Brazil are the main drivers for investor interest in the country, even though political instability raises the perception of risk, accountancy group KPMG believes.
“What makes investors optimistic about Brazil is the potential that country still has,” Franceli Jodas, partner and head of energy markets at KPMG Brazil, told Recharge.
