Only solar bids were successful in Germany’s latest 200MW joint wind-solar tender, the country’s federal grid agency (BnetzA) said.

The agency awarded support averaging €56.60 per megawatt hour to 18 solar projects across five states in Central, Eastern and Northern Germany that had a joint capacity of 211MW.

That was up from an average price of €52.70/MWh at the last mixed wind-solar auction in November.
