Troubled Brazilian renewables group Renova Energia has accepted a fresh offer from US energy giant AES for the 430MW Alto Sertão 3 wind complex and a 300MW project pipeline located in the country’s northeastern region.
The decision comes almost three months after Renova rejected an initial proposal from AES’s Brazilian unit AES Tietê Energia, which also included an offer for a 1.1GW
