Brazil has scheduled for 27 June a tender to contract new wind, solar, biomass and small-hydro projects, kick-starting the long-term tendering process announced last week.
The Mines and Energy Ministry published today the initial guidelines for an A-4 process that will contract power four years from the tender, via 20-year PPAs starting on 1 January 2023.
Investors interested bidding will have to register projects by 5 April, the government said.
