DNV GL Energy CEO Ditlev Engel has been named a special envoy for climate and energy by the Danish government.
Engel, who will take on the assignment in addition to his current role at the international energy consultancy, is charged with a range of duties including “strengthening Denmark’s global partnerships [and] promoting private investments in the green transition”, as well as a supporting role in the country’s international climate action in the lead-up to next year’s UN Climate Summit in New York.
