Enel expects its global generation to be almost two-thirds emissions-free by 2021 as it increases investments in renewables “that are increasingly the customer’s choice”, the Italian utility giant said.
The 62% clean production – up from 48% by the end of 2018 – will come thanks to an allocation of 42% of gross Capex to renewables over the 2019-21 period out of a total of €27.5bn
