Dominion Energy is seeking bids for up to 500MW of onshore wind and PV solar generation as part of a plan to develop 3GW of additional capacity from both resources by early 2022 under Virginia's new Grid Transformation & Security Act (GTSA).
The GTSA, which became law on 1 July, provides a roadmap for the state’s energy future. It encourages investment in renewables and electric grid modernization to make it more reliable and resilient.
