The European Commission has decided to cease its five year-campaign of anti-dumping measures against Chinese PV cells and modules.

The minimum import price (MIP) scheme that set base import prices on Chinese-made product will officially expire at midnight on 3 September, in a move that could have a knock-on impact to the competitiveness of solar against other renewable sources – including wind – in some European markets.
