Sales and earnings from renewables rose at German utility E.ON in the first half of 2018, as a rise in output due to commissioning of new onshore and offshore wind farms was only partially offset by unfavourable wind conditions and the expiration of support mechanisms.
Sales in the renewables division rose to €741m ($861m) in the first half of the year from €710m in the year-earlier period.
