Net sales and underlying operating profit rose in Vattenfall’s wind business area in the second quarter of 2018, with new capacity and positive price and currency effects offsetting a decrease in power generation due to lower wind speeds and curtailment.

Net wind sales at the Swedish utility went up to SKr2.61bn ($293m) in the second quarter, up from SKr2.05bn in the same period in 2017.
