More countries are “banking” on solar energy around the world, as almost 100GW were installed globally last year, however, figures are less encouraging for European markets, which are falling behind in new installations, according to research from SolarPower Europe.
In its latest report on the global solar market, the association revealed that 2017 saw 99.1GW installed globally, prompting SolarPower Europe to estimate that this year over 100GW will be installed.
