Indian developer Azure Power has won a 200MW solar project in Gujarat, India, helping boost its renewables portfolio.
Azure is due to sign a 25 year power purchase agreement (PPA) with local electricity distribution company Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVN) at Rs3.06 (€0.038) per kilowatt hour.
The project will be developed by Azure outside a solar park and is expected to be commissioned in 2019.
