E.ON has unveiled plans to offer customers battery-free PV power production storage using the utility’s SolarCloud “virtual electricity account”.
As part of the new offering, which will go live first in Germany and then Italy before wider roll-out, PV systems can flow energy directly into the SolarCloud, and then used for home energy demand as well as “other places” including EVs.
