GE Renewable Energy grew revenue and profits in the final three months of last year amid a turbulent fourth quarter for its parent group, which ended with a $9.8bn loss and an earnings collapse at its GE Power unit focusing on the conventional generation sector.
The renewable energy division saw fourth-quarter profits grow 25% year-on-year to $203m in the quarter on revenue 15% higher at $2.875bn.
