Plummeting renewable energy prices and wider industrial sustainability trends drove corporate power purchase agreements (PPA) to record volumes last year, according to a new report from Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF).

Some 5.4GW of contracts were signed by 43 corporations for clean energy production in 10 different countries in 2017, up from 4.3GW the year previous and eclipsing the 2015 record of 4.4GW.
