Canada has announced new funding for renewable energy technologies, as part of its Pan-Canadian Framework on Clean Growth & Climate Change, a $21.9bn investment over 11 years designed to drive the country's efforts to transition to a clean economy.
The $200m Emerging Renewable Power Program has the mission of “expanding commercially viable, investment-ready, renewable power technologies”, led by tidal, geothermal and offshore wind.
