Energy giant Shell has agreed a five-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with developer British Solar Renewables (BSR) to buy output from the Bradenstoke solar plant – England’s largest.

Bradenstoke, located on 213 acres of the former RAF Lyneham air base near Swindon in southern England, comprises 269,000 solar panels with a 69.8MW peak capacity and 50MW AC export capacity.
