Oil and gas player Shell is developing a 20MW solar plant near its Moerdijk chemicals site in the Netherland.
The supermajor plans to begin construction this year, aiming to incorporate the power produced from the solar plant in the energy consumption of Moerdijk.
The solar plant will be constructed on an unused parcel of land at Shell Moerdijk, the company said.
