CDC Group – the UK governnment’s development finance body – has launched Ayana Renewable Power as a vehicle to develop “hundreds of megawatts” of wind and solar in South Asia.
The new company will focus on developing projects in “underserved Indian states” and neighbouring nations such as Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar and Sri Lanka, said CDC in a statement.
