Offshore wind pacesetter Orsted is to issue its first green bonds.
The Danish group said it plans to issue two “benchmark-sized” green bonds – one of them a hybrid capital security maturing in 3017.
The company, until recently known as Dong Energy, said the impetus behind the issue is to extend the duration of its senior debt maturity profile and refinance an existing €500m ($589m) hybrid capital security issued in 2013.
