Chilean renewables developer Verano Capital offered the lowest price of $25.28/MWh in Chile’s latest tender by combining power from wind and solar projects to provide 24/7 output.

The bid involved selling power from the 47MW Punta del Viento Solar PV project, which was developed by Verano and later sold to Spain's FRV according to local Chilean press, and forging a partnership with an investment fund, which will supply electricity from its own wind project.
